Shiraz Wall Sconce with Glass

The Shiraz Wall Sconce With Glass brings together depth of colour, material and light in a bold, sculptural form. Handcrafted in ceramic, the outer body is finished in a rich Shiraz glaze—deep, wine-toned and layered with subtle variation that gives the surface a sense of movement and depth.

At its centre, glass emerges organically through the clay, appearing as though it has been revealed rather than inserted. This irregular opening becomes the focal point of the piece, with the textured glass catching and diffusing light against the glossy ceramic surface.

Each light is individually made, with natural variation in glaze, form and the way the glass meets the clay—ensuring no two are exactly alike.

When illuminated, the glass glows warmly from within, creating a soft, intimate point of light, while a broader ambient glow is cast above and below. The result is both sculptural and atmospheric—balancing richness, contrast and light.
